My younger brother Michael O’Brien worked for Tamair as a Pilot Instructor. I understood he still held a retainership for some time after the company folded, but I don’t know to whom…Michael instructed two of our nephews who have gone on to do well in the Aviation Industry both public and private. One is a pilot with Virgin Australia The other owns Outback by Air and Oberon Air. Michael himself, sadly, is a patient in a Canberra nursing home having suffered an aneurysm to the brain in 2020. Myself, I have had the privilege of knowing the manager of Rex, at Lismore NSW, in more recent years. Thank you, Jim, for your excellent writing and for the preservation of history; long may you live! anne.b.buchan@gmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
